There's a way to get stuck on morning of day 49 if you miss the party on evening of day 48!
I'll upload a fix for that later today, just need to run some tests to make sure the other newer content for the Jan release is not interfering.
Till the fix, make sure to choose the embassy on evening of day 48 :)
