Hello everyone!
This is Jorge, one of the co-directors of Tunche with an important update for many of our backers and some collectors out there!
We know it has been almost 2 years since Tunche originally came out and even longer since our Kickstarter campaign ended and the day we made some very important promises to our backers.
Over the last few months we have been getting many physical goods ready for those backers that enthusiastically wanted to not only be a great help for the development team, but also get a little piece of our crazy jungle in their hands. However, there is a very important part in this puzzle that we still needed to complete and that is the console physical edition.
Creating the physical copies for Tunche was a very long and hard process for everyone involved, but today I’m glad to tell you that we are really close to the finish line and all the backers that paid for a physical copy of the game will soon get theirs. All of them have also received an email with a special form just in case anyone needed to update their address before we start sending the games. With that info already updated, it is only a matter of a few days for these copies to find their final homes.
Finally, this is also the last update related to Tunche and in a way the end of this very long and exciting project for both our fans and us at LEAP Game Studios. We hope you had a lot of fun playing in the amazon jungle with Rumi, Qaru, Pancho, Nayra and our friend Hat Kid.
This has been quite the adventure, not only in-game but also outside for us as this was our first big multi platform release and we hope all of Tunche’s fans join us in our next projects.
Once again and hopefully not for the last time!
Best,
Jorge
Tunche’s Co-director
P.S: The physical edition of Tunche will include the original content the game launched with in 2021 and not the “Enhanced Edition” free update. We are already working on possible options to add this content in the future as an update on consoles as well.
