Hi Dealers, If you own an Intel 10 (or newer) processor, you may experience problems launching the game. This bug has been present for some time, but with the growing number of new players and newer, more powerful computers, it has become more noticeable recently. If this happens, here’s the
SOLUTION:
We’ve added a launch option “Play DDS (For newer generation Intels (10+)” Simply choose it at launch and the game should work just fine. You can mark “Always use this option” to never bother selecting it again. Since we used a 4.21.2 version of the engine, new generations of Intel processors do experience this crash bug. However, this issue affects only a portion of users with newer Intel processors. Fortunately, the steps necessary to overcome the crash are simple. We have written about them HERE IN OUR FAQ - https://steamcommunity.com/app/682990/discussions/0/3845556684660691089/ Now you can simply use the new launch option to save yourself the hassle. It's safe for you and your computer, and it's a known workaround suggested by Intel themselves. If the problem persists and affects a bigger part of the community, we'll consider other solutions We’re sorry that you have experienced the issue.
