[b]"Reaching the Necht Tree of Life" Definition:[/b] Players will be defined to have reached the Necht Tree of Life in Last Dream: World Unknown when they have saved their game using the “Save” option at the Tree of Life in the Town of Necht. [b]Gameplay Rules:[/b] • Difficulty level MUST be set to [b]"Hard"[/b] • Saving option MUST be set to [b]"Saving in Designated Locations"[/b] • [b][u]Altered "Game Options" (e.g. difficulty, saving options, etc.) are prohibited.[/u][/b] • "Reborn", “Continue Reborn”, and “Continue” games are prohibited. • “Fast Forward” is allowable. [b]Selection of a Winner:[/b] All Last Dream: World Unknown save files submitted prior to 11:59 EDT on August 31st to info@whitegiantrpg.com will be analyzed for the quickest time to reach the Tree of Life in Necht in Last Dream: World Unknown. Any save files that do not meet the criteria above will be disqualified, and the remaining entries will be ordered from shortest to longest time to reach the Necht Tree of Life in Last Dream: World Unknown. The five participants with the quickest time to reach the Necht Tree of Life in Last Dream: World Unknown will be awarded prizes. If multiple participants reach the Necht Tree of Life in Last Dream: World Unknown in the same time (to the second), then the participant with the fewest steps will win the tie-breaker. [b]Prize Details:[/b] •The "Last Dream: World Unknown NPC" prize allows the prize winner to have an NPC named after themselves (or any other name of their choice, within the developers’ discretion) in World Unknown. Prize winners will be contacted for information at the conclusion of the competition. •The "Last Dream: World Unknown Tombstone" prize allows the prize winner to have a Tombstone with text of their choosing (within the developers’ discretion) in World Unknown. Prize winners will be contacted for information at the conclusion of the competition. •The "Last Dream: World Unknown NPC with personalized text" prize allows the prize winner to have an NPC named after themselves or any name of their choice and write text of their choosing (within the developers’ discretion) in World Unknown. Prize winners will be contacted for information at the conclusion of the competition. •The "Statue in the Hall of Champions in World Unknown" prize allows the prize winner to have a statue based on a character costume of their choice in a secret location in Last Dream: World Unknown called the Hall of Champions. The statue will also include a plaque with the prize winner’s preferred name and quote. Prize winners will be contacted for information at the conclusion of the competition. •If selected, Last Dream II will be distributed to prize winners when/if the game is released on Steam. •If selected, the “World Unknown Steam Key: will be distributed to prize winners within 15 days. [b]Other Rules:[/b] [b]Geographic Area of Competition:[/b] Residents of all countries worldwide and of all states in the U.S. are allowed to participate in this competition. This contest is void where prohibited. Contests and promotions are subject to all country, federal, state, and local laws. [b]Start and End Dates of Competition:[/b] The competition begins June 1st, 2017 at 12:00 PM EDT and ends at 11:59 PM EDT on August 31st, 2017. Save files received after 11:59 PM EST on August 31st will not be considered. [b]Winners Documentation:[/b] The Prize Winners for the competition can be obtained from the Last Dream: World Unknown Community Hub on Steam on September 3rd by 11:59 PM EST. [b]Excluded Participants:[/b] Last Dream: World Unknown Creators (Andrew Walker, Josh Mellon, Mark Cope, Chris Moore, Seth Hetu) are excluded from participation in the competition, as well as anyone younger than 13 years of age. [b]General Release of Liability:[/b] Contest winners and participants agree to defend, indemnify, release and hold White Giant RPG Studios, LLC and the Last Dream: World Unknown Creators harmless against any and all claims or liability arising directly or indirectly from the prizes or participation in the contest.
