HexDefense

HexDefense is a roguelike tower defense with an emphasis on constant action with little to no downtime. Defend your city by building towers, upgrading them with money from their fallen foes, and equipping them with strange items you find out in the world!

Hi everyone! Firstly, let me say thanks to everyone who has left feedback. I have heard and have already started working on fixing issues, the SFX and tooltip fixes have already been released. Next up is volume fixes and scalable UI. Second, I want to make it clear that the game's current state is FAR from the final vision, and I have lots of changes and reworks planned. The first of which is enemies. Currently enemies are frankly not satisfying to kill and that is one of the things that I think is most important to get right. Instead of them simply being giant damage sponges whose absorption goes up as time goes on, I aim to increase difficulty over time in other ways. I also hope to move away from what is currently just a "giant line of death" of enemies packed together so tight that its hard to differentiate them and what health bar belongs to who. [/list] Naturally these larger updates will take TIME, so there will also be smaller content updates either in between or included with these updates that will add more items, enemies, towers, and more.
