Hi everyone! I wanted to share on what’s coming next for the game, along with some changes based on all the great feedback we've been receiving. So let’s get started!
Content Expansion
Content has been the number one request from the community, and we’re making it the core focus moving forward. Our goal is to expand the game in meaningful ways that give you more dinosaurs, new modes, and deeper replayability.
14 Playable Dinosaurs
To kick things off, we’ve reached a huge milestone by adding 14 new dinosaurs to the game!

These dinosaurs have been fully animated and integrated into the game and therefore are ready to go. This really took us a while as there were plenty of challenges, but it was absolutely worth it. With this major addition, we can now shift gears and push towards the other elements to further expand the game.
New Game Modes
In addition to new dinosaurs, expanding the game’s modes is going to be a big part of the next phase. Here’s a quick breakdown of what’s coming:

Story Mode: This is the linear, roguelite-style mode that’s already in the game. Going forward, the focus here will be finishing the remaining areas, adding NG+ content, and weaving more lore into the game to bring the story to life. Story mode also act as an introduction to the game, where its linearity makes it easier for players to learn the basic mechanics of the game. Story mode only enables you to play as either the Lythronax or Centrosaurus.

Survival Mode: This new mode is still in development, but I can already tell you it’s shaping up to be something special. We're planning to incorporate much of the feedback and requests we've received so far, while ensuring everything stays aligned with the game's core fundamentals and established gameplay. Because of this, Survival Mode will be more open-world with a medium-sized map and further emphasis on roguelike mechanics. All dinosaurs (except for the story-exclusive ones) will be available for play here. I don’t want to spoil too much just yet, but expect more info as development progresses as this will be one of the main focuses moving forward!
Character Selection Revamp
We’ve also made a change to character selection. Instead of choosing between two specific dinosaurs (Lythronax or Centrosaurus), players will now select from two diet types: Carnivores or Herbivores.

This system does more than bundle dinosaurs by diet as it also functions as a shared save system where all dinosaurs within the same diet type share progress, making it easier to switch between them. You can also swap between Carnivores and Herbivores whenever you want, without worrying about one class overwriting the other’s progress.

In addition, character selection has been revamped to include mode selection and track progress, creating a smoother and more intuitive flow.
The Road Ahead
With so much content in the works, it’s going to take some time to get everything together. We want this game to feel like an old-school adventure, where exploration matters—unlocking secrets, finding special rewards, and feeling genuinely satisfied with your progression. To make that happen, we need to make sure everything is properly balanced.
Because of this, the next update may not drop until sometime next year. I can’t wait to share more as things come together and will keep you all posted on major milestones as development progresses.
Thank you so much for your support! And more updates coming soon.
