If there are horses involved, it's a western, that's right! In the 6th issue of the New Hope Gazette we reveal to you which horses are trotting or galloping through the Wild West and expose you to a fact that probably only a few people know!
In addition, this issue focuses on trappers, two of whom we profile: Joseph R. Walker and Jedediah Smith.
Jedediah Smith is probably one of the best-known of the Mountain Men, having led two major expeditions west and having died young.
Captain Walker, no less well known, died at an old age, and in his lifetime he explored the country and found... well, read it yourself!
