The Longest Road on Earth Song Highlight

The Longest Road on Earth

A thoughtful and deeply personal title with stripped-down mechanics. The lack of dialogue or text allows you to create your own narrative through your time with four characters. Each short story will allow players to be swept away by the haunting lyrics of over twenty original, nostalgic songs.

Today I wanted to dive into the song we used to announce our launch date, very aptly named “The Longest Road on Earth”. It’s like when a music album is named after one of the songs! The lyrics talk about things that have impacted my life in some way. To tighten that up the chorus encompasses how I’ve felt the past years navigating how to be an adult and discovering what that means to me, as opposed to the preconceived ideas I had about it. My favorite part is where I talk about my nephew. I asked my sister to send me an audio of him saying: Hola titi! That’s how he calls me and I just love to have his little voice be part of this. Then it was Edu’s idea to have the rest of the team singing with me to finish the song, which is very special because making all this music by myself can get a bit lonely. I loved sharing this experience with the rest of the team and I hope this song can mean something to you, so you will be part of it as well. - Beicoli Brainwash Gang
