"The Great Below Original Soundtrack" and “The Society Bundle” debut alongside the game today.
The Great Below Original Soundtrack, crafted by indie artist abstraKt, is not just music – it's an atmospheric masterpiece, enhancing your gaming experience and immersing you fully in the dark, mysterious world of The Great Below. 🎶
Feel the nostalgia of the PSX era as abstraKt skillfully weaves a tapestry of sounds that will evoke a range of emotions – from helplessness and anxiety to a yearning for something lost, reminiscing about past hopes that never materialized, all the way to a murky acceptance of fate.
The first track, "Introduction to Decay," serves as the door to a spiral that only goes down. As you progress in the game, let the music guide you on the same path, descending in tandem with your journey through The Great Below. 🔊

From abstraKt:
The music for The Great Below aims to convey a descent into madness and an ascent to enlightenment in a different way, using twisted pianos and strings stretched and distorted to the limit, along with cult elements like cathedral bells and choirs.
It incorporates a wall of textures and noise that corrupts everything at the same rhythm as you descend. As for influences, I've drawn more from outside the video game industry, taking inspiration from structures and textures from Post-Metal to Industrial, from Electronica to Ambient, with bands like Amenra, The Haxan Cloak, Forest Swords, or Lingua Ignota, and Akira Yamaoka as a major influence within the industry. 🎮🎶
Face the unknown, conquer your fears, and unravel the secrets within "The Great Below." đź’€
