Memoir En Code: Reissue is an autobiographical game album. Designed to be experienced similarly to a music album, this short experimental game explores different bits of the author's life as a series of interactive tracks.
Hello everyone!
Good news: 2016 is (almost) over!

As usual, at the end of the year Steam goes crazy on big sales and discounts, so I wanted to take this chance to explain how I will approach discount seasons from now on.
I feel that on Steam there are a lot of niche/experimental games that (because of their very nature) struggle in terms of sales. They usually start at very reasonable prices but end up destroying their perceived value by embracing extremely high discount rates (60-80% OFF) for the sake of making more sales.
While I understand why some devs would do this, I am personally not a fan of this approach. To me, the value of something I create has a higher importance than the profit I make out of it. This is enforced by the fact that - in the case of Memoir En Code: Reissue - the full retail price is only 4.99$. That's the price of one single coffee at Starbucks.
Max Discount policy
I have decided to establish a MAX DISCOUNT policy set to 20% OFF for Memoir En Code: Reissue. This means that the game will never be sold on store-front for less than 3.99$ (the current sale until the end of the holiday sales). This excludes the possibility of joining game bundles in the future (even though I don't really see that happening anytime soon).

3.99$ (20% OFF) is the lowest price you will ever buy Memoir En Code: Reissue for.
If you already bought and played the game, thank you so much for your support. If you bought the game but didn't play it yet...well, I'm sure you can find an hour of your time during the holidays! If you know anyone who might like the game, consider gifting them a copy, or just sharing the game page on your social media accounts.
Finally, if you didn't buy the game yet, this is your best chance :)
Thanks for your support throughout the year!
Alex
