His dark robes hide his face, and his piercing azure eyes are the only sign of his presence. In one hand he holds a cold dagger, in the other a lantern, once his most dangerous weapon. Night Blade's movements are silent and deadly, and his aura exudes fear. His true identity remains a mystery, both in life and in death. Wanting the best, he sought out Night Blade, who promised riches and challenges. Lured by the promise of contracts, Night Blade became Finch's deadliest acquisition, but not everyone shared his enthusiasm. Jealousy and fear created a storm in the ranks of Finch's assassins. As Night Blade's reputation grew, his associates began to hate him, leading to a conspiracy. [h2]Eternal killer[/h2] Clara, a barmaid loyal to Night Blade, learned of the plot. She ran to warn him, but the conspirators had already lured Night Blade into a trap. However, he decided to leave on his terms and threw the lantern into the powder kegs. The explosion devastated the bar, killing everyone inside, but Night Blade remained elusive. Death was not his end. Witnesses to the explosion repeatedly claimed to have seen the ghost of Night Blade carrying a dagger and lantern. He had become a part of the world to which he had sent many, but he would not fade into oblivion. He was ready for new assignments, hoping for challenges greater than ever before. The more complicated and dangerous the task, the more he is drawn to it. While payment is important, it is the challenge that drives his existence. Every contract is a game, a test of his skills as an assassin, even after death.
