Concentration camps at the time dreaded every nation by even a mere mentioning. Some people did have hope of leaving this soul-devouring abyss, but for most camp was usually a one-way street. One of the most unbearable activities, including back-breaking labor, was roll-calls. For hours poor inmates had to stand under the sizzling sun or pouring rain waiting for their numbers to be checked by an officer. People often fainted and even died, especially during extremely long roll-calls done, for instance, when an escape occured. One or even two days spent standing straight up, without any food or water, can break even the toughest will. This is why those responsible for such terrible deeds must be caught and brought to justice. Please stay tuned for more updates. They are coming very soon.
