Iโd like to welcome you all to Norigin โ [b]a cinematic boss climbing game[/b]๐ง that comfortably sits within the confines of the boss rush subgenre.
In case you missed it, the Norigin reveal trailer was officially shown by IGN below a few weeks ago๐ฅ (all a bit surreal that this little indie game has started to get legs)

Although the Steam page has been up for a while, the online presence of Norigin has been pretty much dormant up until this month.
[b]Why? [/b]
Well, pretty much from its inception (minus a few months) I have been wrestling with trying to get the core mechanics, art style and narrative aligned (all while raising a family etc - the usual๐ ). Now that things are more in unison, [b]I feel it is a good time to go on this dev journey more publicly[/b].
The good thing [b]there is now a playable prototype actively in development that reflects the core boss climbing loop[/b] (with snippets of this gameplay shown in the trailer). However there are still [b]LOTS of key features that need to be added[/b] and developed at various stages before the game is ready to ship such as mini-bosses and puzzles just to name a few.
I am looking to give you all high level dev updates here on Steam - so make sure to give a follow if youโre curious!

Oh โฆ and who am I? Well I'm the director behind Norigin. Currently I work solo with contractors that rotate on and off the project depending on its needs in a sort of ramp on/ramp off basis.
