Hello Everyone!
We are coming closer and closer to getting our little game to it's final form, and this update is a big step towards that goal.
Features and Gameplay Updates:

Added the mnemonic art from our Hiragana Reference Guide to go along with the dialogue in the Hiragana tutorial level.
This was done to improve the mnemonic visualization for complete beginners to the Japanese Language, as well as to aid the understanding of what the walls of text in our dialogue boxes are referring to.

Added Game Buddy interactables to the introductory area after the tutorial to better explain what can be accessed in the menu, as well as how the game generally works.

Fixed a wayward Game Buddy interactable that snuck by our radar as well.

Debuffed the Emergency District Instance ever so slightly so players aren't getting TOO stuck in the bowels of... well, the Emergency District.

Added 2 minigames to increase repetition to some of the areas in the vocabulary we felt needed more support.
The first minigame can be found in the Emergency District to help with memorizing vocabulary regarding the Fire Department and the Police Department.
The Second minigame can be found in the School District and covers the days of the week.

Updated the "Charms" Map to make it more useable as a map and to improve the aesthetic for both the Main Menu and Train Station Menu.

Added a new Shop NPC to the School District to give have another place to spend that Yen players have acquired by that point.

And finally, Steam integration is set up on the backend, so Steam Achievements are now online! Just some basic ones at the moment, but may cook up some more over time before release.

THE BIG UPDATE:
After 2+ months of planning, hard work, and other such things, we have officially added Kanji Island to the build! This new area is accessible via the Food District after defeating the Food District Instance.
It is meant to introduce players to 52 of the most common Radicals used in around 75% of the The jōyō Kanji (Common Kanji that are taught in schools as well as the only Kanji used in Official Government Documents in Japan). This area also introduces a small side story plot and minigame themed around learning these Radicals.
This area was a labor of love and not originally planned for this game, but we felt it was important to have something that introduced Kanji learning to players so that after they (hopefully) complete the game, they can try it again in "Kanji Mode", or at least take that knowledge with them when they start on their next phase of learning.
There are a few little things we still want to add here and there, but this was the biggest update by far. We are pleased to add it to the overall experience that this game provides and hope you find it helpful, engaging, and of course, FUN.
Extra News:
We have decided on the day that we're going to be leaving Early Access and entering the "finished product" state for Kagami. After looking at what is left in our list of things to do and what timing is required for achieve those goals, it looks like it's going to be Friday May 3rd.
This will mean a price increase for the game, so if you still want to get it a little early to provide feedback on the current state of the game or just want to get it a little cheaper and don't want to wait for a sale down the line, then I would suggest buying it before then.
After the full release, we will of course still keep our eyes on the feedback in the Steam comments, fixing any bugs that come up and the like, but we will most likely remove the dedicated feedback form accessible in the game menu and start shifting focus onto our next project.
As always, we want to thank everyone who is giving our little learning game a shot, giving us feedback to help us improve, and hope we made something memorable that also helps you learn a thing or two... or three... or more!
If you have any technical issues or constructive criticism, there are still feedback forms accessible from the main menu, OR you can leave a comment on our Steam forums. I USUALLY check both of those everyday.
I never know how to end these, so.. Thank you again and go get em' Tiger!
