For instance, for the praying mantis, the Audio Designer based its sound on the shrill cry of an elk, which he transformed into something unique yet still recognizable as a roar. "[i]For the ants, I was inspired by the creaking sounds they make with their bodies and distorted my own voice to create their strange language.
