We changed it so that when it goes out of sight, it fades to the background color instead of going dark. This may have alleviated the blinking. However, this is only a temporary fix. Eventually, the blinking will stop and the shutter will come down from above. Also, the ON/OFF of the shutter will be manual instead of automatic. So you will be able to aim for the fastest clearing without being able to see it.
