Next Fest June 2024 has just started! As participants, we've prepared a whopper of a demo update for this occasion! [h1]Some of the main points:[/h1] [list] [*]new languages! [/list] [h1]Here's the full changelog:[/h1] [b]General changes:[/b] [list] [*] New: Last resort ticket mechanic - if you have only 1 ticket left you will never drop to 0 if you every time finish all the tasks during the match [*] Vehicles are now little wobbly in the garage and main menu to give them more character. [*] Character limit increased to 32 (for longer names width of label will be automatically adjusted). [*] Player's vehicle is now incomparably more stable while destroying objects like trees, market stalls, fruit boxes, fences etc. [*] Player can now score stunts from arena's initial jump. [*] Now rotation speed is slowly decreasing after crash to reduce a "fast spinning vehicle" effect. [*] Removed collider from ceiling on the tutorial map. [*] New music track [/list] [b]Tutorial and onboarding:[/b] [list] [*] New: Add quick tutorial (on the side menu) to explain in-game progression mechanics [*] New: Random small quick tips on the post-match screen (to learn players about indirect mechanics and strategies). [*] New: Pause menu now displays control scheme for mouse+keyboard too. [*] New: Now opening new career screen with gamepad (at the first time) will put a "Delivery!" text in the empty "player name" field. [*] A "+1 per unlocked reward" label is now appearing only when "next tournament" button is focused. [*] Replace 3 variations of scaffold notifications ("Scaffold!", "Left scaffold!", "Right scaffold!") with just one ("Scaffold!"). [*] Amount of tickets and tokens moved to the left side of the screen (right below player name). [*] Fix: Pressing (B)/[ESC] doesn't close options screen. [*] Fix: Rotating vehicle on the tournament screen is now fully parallel to the ground (previously it was always little bit skewed). [*] Difficulty for tasks adjusted to make them easier in early game and harder in late game. [*] Now challenge timer is unaffected by slow-mo. [*] Hardest matches with mines should now be easier than before (especially on the City map). [*] Initial time and bonus time for delivery challenge increased. [*] Increased activation range for Stunt Lights "Roundabout" variant. [*] Decreased amount of required tow truck tricks in difficult matches. [*] Removed Stunt Lights "Stunt" variant from appearing next to roadworks on the city. [/list] [b]Bugfixes:[/b] [list] [*] Scoring is now disallowed during match ending sequence. [*] New: Now on startup while loading latest save, the save file will be scanned for any potential issues to fix those if possible to avoid career hard reset . [*] Fix: Player doesn't lose Stunt POints by falling outside of the Minigolf map. [*] Fix: Unstuck function on the tutorial map. [*] Fix: Vehicle still moves after teleportation to another location in the middle of tutorial. [*] Fix: Helmets appear as a match reward but they never should. [*] Fix: Navigating with LStick changes focus multiple times with single motion. [*] Fix: Arrow indicator sometimes points to random empty space during tutorial. [*] Fix: Weird glitch effect caused by fast moving camera when player is teleported to the second tutorial location [*] Fix: Sometimes vehicle was completely losing suspension after interacting with air vents. [*] Fix: Some specific tutorial sequences could potentially break tutorial. [*] Fix: Sometimes when loading older saves vehicle at start was white without any texture.
