Sable's Grimoire 2 is a visual novel featuring monster girls in a magic academy setting. This is a sequel to the original Sable's Grimoire game. It follows Sable's studies of magic and his budding friendships with his demi-human classmates and teachers.

If you've been following the discussion threads on the first Sable's Grimoire game, then it should come as no surprise that the development of Sable's Grimoire 2 is going smoothly. It's still in the early stages, but every day we get a little bit closer.
The sprites are now done and work on the backgrounds has started, as you've probably already guessed from the screenshots on the store page. The writing is a fair way through, and early next year the CGs and music tracks will start flowing in.
I'll start posting character bios and such on Mastodon/Twitter and probably in a thread on Steam next year, as well as providing updates in a similar manner.
The store page description, capsule images, screenshots, etc. on the store page will also be updated over time as more of the game artwork is completed and the release date draws closer.
Speaking of the release date, it's too early to provide an accurate estimate of when that will be. However, it is expected to be some time in either 2024 or 2025. The date will largely depend on how many routes SG2 initially launches with, and which routes they end up being.
Like the first game, SG2 will also see new routes/endings added over time after the initial release. Only a few of the routes have been decided on, while the others aren't set in stone yet, and may be influenced by which routes players want to see added.
So it's early days yet, but we're off to a good start. Development is ramping up, and next year will see a great deal of progress being made.
