After two years of precipitation, we re-made this variable sequel after thinking about it! Variable 2 is a unique stand-alone tower defense game. We have enriched the building and elements of tower defense, and the experience in the game can be changed according to your ideas!

Hi, Everyone! I am OAB, member of Asteroid Game Studio. There has been 1 week since Variables2 released and we have received over 100 comments. Thank you for supporting! We know that there still be number of bugs and UI problems in our new game. We are sorry for that and working on solve those annoying problems. Until now(v1.0.7), we -Fix mistakes in description of some Constructs. -Fix some UI adaptation problems. -Fix an error about merging turrets which has Seaweed Ball prefix, which could make game crashed. -Fix problem that Auto-Learning Chip’s bonus cannot be inherited. -Fix problems that some achievements, like Newbie Guide, cannot be unlocked. -Fix mistakes of Noticed Atmosphere’s effective range. -Fix error of UI of Boss Cyborg Slime, which could make game crashed. -Fix a bug of Gold Magazine, which could make game crashed. -Change min speed of Boss Eternal Sphere, which is from 0.5 to 0.1. -Fix a bug of Multi-Functional Copier, which could make game crashed. -Fix an error that game crashes when Diamond Spawner is deployed but there is now available path. -Fix bugs which can make game crashes instantly after game is open. -Game auto-saves when entering battle. -Fix problem that Kettle has no effect on acid damage. -Fix problem that Armament Upgrade cannot be unlocked. -Fix problem that Invisible Dagger is still effective when unequipping. ... If you have suggestion or problems and would like to improve quality of Variable2, feel free to talk in steam community. Any feedback is welcomed! If you purchased our last game Variables before July 1, 2021, Variables2 was automatically added into your library. PS: Here is FQA part because we found that some players have problems of operating(Yeah, we all know that is blame to bad UI design). We are sorry for that and we are planning to fix those problems. Q: I think the construct was deployed on wrong place. Can I remove them and redeploy? A: Click right mouse button and you will remove a construct to your inventory. Nexus and spawners can be removed unlimitedly. While platforms, grounds, elevators, turrets can be removed only in the same wave of deploying. For those are deployed during former waves, they cannot be removed.(but you can destroy deployed turrets that you are not satisfied) Q: I only can use Q and E to rotate camera? That is not convenient. A: You can drag with middle mouse button to rotate camera. Q: It seems that achievements has their own reward but I never gained them. A: You need to click those unlocked achievements icon in handbook to gain your reward. We plan to change that because it is dumb. Q: The jackpot is always Cross Flipped, no matter how I refresh prize pool. A: Maybe you have unlocked all upgrades, so there is only Cross Flipped in jackpot pool. Q: Is the highest difficulty N7? A: There are EX difficulties in this game, maybe you should try to play endless mode in N7? We prepared surprise when you finish some waves.
