We had a number of complaints about several strange and elusive glitches in the snowboarding section of the Windows version of AVGN Adventures on high refresh rate monitors, one of which completely prevented progressing to the boss. This is now fixed and you should be able to continue on to fight the boss without changing your refresh rate. Thanks for your patience!
