There has been a silence lately, but fear not! I have news!
I have a few developers/game testers that have been helping me get the (almost final) interaction system tweaks! This doesn't mean I won't be adding more to it, it just means that the core is there and replicates on all clients and the host. Though it was flawed before, we had the Display Message Blueprint showing on everyone's screen whenever the host or anyone else would switch focus on a target that had a "Look at" message.
Next we have the Smelting system that was implemented. This only took about 4 hours and that was mostly me troubleshooting. Right now the when you go the smelter (currently just a cube for a placeholder actor) two different 4 square slots will open. The one on top currently holds the Raw ore and the bottom will be the dispensed Ingots. This currently does work, gold has a 5 second interval before it smelt. Iron, Silver, Copper, Tin, and Coal do nothing right now. This is will be a simple copy and paste, but I want to wait until the Mini-game for the Smelter has been added before I start adding some additions ores to smelt.
This may not seem like much but it really is a large step toward the play test! It has been pushed back multiple times already, but I wanted to make sure that the interactions and what not were 100% working and replicated before I worked on actual things for you guys to do. Now that I am just at the stage of adding the final pieces of the quest system and the mini-games for the skills, it is not that far away!
