Slide demo is arriving on Steam on October, 7th
Description
In Slide, you can ride cute animals to race against your friends through dreamy tracks. Master the dive to avoid obstacles and gain boosts, explore environments to find hidden shortcuts, use power-ups to outrun the horde. Or you can just take a tour and enjoy the view, while listening to the sympho-ethnic soundtrack. That's up to you. The game is playable up to 8 friends (or enemies) in local split-screen on Windows, Linux and MacOS. It is also accessible to beginners and kids thanks to auto-pilot options; but to win the race, you'll truly have to master the diving mechanics and many more.
The Demo
The upcoming demo will showcase 1 track among clouds, 1 playable animal (a turtle) and up to 4 players.
Developer
Slide is developed by solo indie game developer Mathias Fontmarty. Mathias likes coding, drawing and making music. So what's better than creating video games to do all this at the same time? After years of learning by himself, he thought it was time to share his games for real, in the real world, for real people to play them. So he created "Oneiric Worlds", a game studio that aims at making inspiring and feel-good video games... because that's what he likes!
Story
Slide was first developed as a mini-game for "A Thief's Melody", a cartoon 3D adventure/stealth game currently in development at the studio. It evolved so much that it reached a point where it could be a full game by itself. Both games share the same world and the same contemplative atmosphere, as well as a focus on animals and nature.
