An enhanced edition of buccaneer lifestyle simulator Sid Meier's Pirates! is headed to the Wii, publisher Take-Two Interactive and subsidiary 2K Games announced today.

Based off Firaxis' 2004 revamp of Pirates!--the game originally debuted in 1987--the port is being handled by 2K China. Two new mini-games were promised-Bombardment and Lock Picking--plus "exclusive character and ship customization options."
