On a personal note, I grew up in the suburbs of Chicago and every now and then my friend's folks would take us to Lake Geneva Wisconsin to a shop called The Dungeon. Gary Gygax owned it and would sometimes be there when we entered the store and marveled at the D&D books and lead (!) miniatures. When I first created Shadowgate in 1985, I always dreamed of actually being IN a dungeon, fighting monsters and solving puzzles. It's cool to finally see that dream come true! - Dave Marsh
