The Singularity Wish

The Singularity Wish is a game about the choices we make. There are no puzzles or turn-based combat, instead the player is confronted with the consequences of their actions… or inaction.

Hi everyone! I’m happy to announce that I’ve rolled out some minor but useful quality of life patches for all my finished games. Especially since a lot of people who played Memoirs are looking into my older (and even less polished) work :D. I re-played it recently and was actually pleasantly surprised by how much I like it! Revisiting old games you've made is actually a really neat experience. Reminds me of when I used to write short stories. In the patch I’ve added a cheat mode and rebalanced the methods needed to achieve the best endings. One thing that’s always bothered me is how hard it was to achieve some of the rarer endings in this game, so I finally went back and made is slightly easier (or much easier if you use the cheats). A reminder that this game’s endings are all semi-canon, which is cryptically explained in the sequel, Singularity: Tactics Arena. It also probably has the narrative I'm most proud of (Memoirs had a lot of problems stemming from how non-linear it is). I definitely plan on bringing back some of the characters here but like I said before, since Memoirs and most of the games I have planned are prequels, the timeline has to "catch up." For the patch I added a pixel perfect mode, which is similar to some of the lossless applications I know some players are using to run the game. It will make the game look sharper overall but also introduce more visual artifacts and errors. Some people may prefer it over the default look. You can find it in the options! Memoirs has a special place in my heart and so do the characters. I intend to bring them all back in Vampire Syndicate, given enough time. I am especially interested in fleshing out some characters that didn't get too much screentime. The patch also adds pixel perfect mode, but I also fixed some various typos and minor bugs. I’m excited as the next update will include a lot of new content :D. That’s it, thanks for playing my games and as always, I appreciate your feedback.
