Greetings, Humans:
Thank you to all those who have been following Loppy's Progress and all the new adventurer's that have joined us for Loppy's adventures,
QQNut Games has been working hard on the Baseline title along with the Demo to get some new fixes out to the public, here is the v1.3 DEMO list for fixes:
- You can now damage enemies during I-frames.
- You can now slide on slopes by holding ↓.
- Dodge move inputs have been altered, instead of skidding and pressing the "Telekinesis" button, you can now press ↓ and the "Telekinesis" button to dodge.
- An attempt was made to prevent the character from "entering the void" after being left behind by the metro in Level 1-4.
- Level 1-1's layout has been slightly altered, more specifically in the "Pastry Mixing" section, in order to make the section stand out more.
- A semisolid platform has been added to Level 1-2's ending section.
- Level 1-3's layout has been altered to remove upside down slopes on ceilings to prevent the Banditon's horizontal velocity from cancelling out when in contact.
- You can now restart and pause the Fliplight's timer if you stand on a sensor, this was added in order to give better flow to Level 1-2.
- Pastries from the Vending Machine have been given a slight resting timer so that the player can have time to store them in the inventory if necessary.
- Metro's speed has been decreased in order to tone down the difficulty.
- Fixed level timer not resetting back to 0 during "Level Clear" screen.
- Thrown objects now have horizontal velocity.
- Slopes have been modified in order to stop any entity from clipping through them, which was a result of its collision being a single weak line, now a 3 point polygon.
The following player animations have been added:
- An animation has been added that shows up when you fall for a long time or when you've fallen off an edge.
- An animation has been added that shows up when jumping while running.
- Undefeated enemies now react to Telekinesis, showing resistance to the action in question.
- Certain pieces of dialogue have been altered in an attempt to fix grammar issues/clarify certain mechanics.
- Button icons have been modified to make them easier to understand.
"Control Configuration" menu has been modified to add the following:
- Added a reset button that is activated by hovering over it or by pressing the "Jump" button.
- It is no longer possible to assign the same key/controller button to different in-game actions.
- You can now fast-forward through cutscenes by holding the "Run" button.
- "Out-of-Bounds" indicator has been re-implemented from the 2021 DEMO.
- Kicking can now be used to move faster if used right.
- ... AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST, Level 1-5 has been added to the level roster, this contains a brand new level intro/boss, in which Loppy & Co. will travel to the monochrome-colored and devoid-of-life Rang Tang INC. mall!
