This is an intimidating yet exciting step forward for me, and a necessary step to continue doing what I love. My time in the industry was a rewarding experience that improved my technical skills, soft skills and work ethic. I grew significantly as a person and even made friends. And while I greatly enjoyed my time there, my heart remained in indie game development and I wanted to work on my own projects again. So I made the decision to quit my job and start a new game company, a bold risk that I couldn't possibly have taken without the experience I've gained over the years.
