On starting the launcher for the second time after applying the update, the game will run immediately if nothing has been changed in your subscribed items from the Workshop. Starting the launcher for the first time will take some time, as it needs to collect some data about your subscriptions. Also fixed a bug regarding a lot of sound files in temporary directories - it was extracting some files to random directories for no reason. This shouldn't happen anymore. Enjoy the new patch!
