[b][h1]Our Experience at IndieDevDay 2024 and gamebcn demoday[/h1][/b]
September 26th to 29th
From September 27th to 29th, we had the pleasure of attending IndieDevDay 2024 in Barcelona, showcasing Roombattle for the second year in a row. IndieDevDay has truly cemented itself as
the most important video game event in the south of Europe, and it was an incredible experience to present our project once again, this time with major improvements in both gameplay and visuals.
Also on September 26th, we also had the opportunity to present the project in front of investors and industry figures during the closing ceremony of the GameBCN incubation program at its Demo Day.

[h2]INDIE DEV DAY 2024[/h2]
As is now a tradition for us at these events, we brought along Roombattle: Live Action, the physical version of our game where players control robots with remote controllers. With all the new additions this year, the event was intense and full of hard work, but it was absolutely worth it. After months of development, events like these are always incredibly rewarding because they allow us to see people’s reactions firsthand and chat with players in person, gathering feedback to make the game even better.

Our booth attracted both gamers and members of the press, as well as some very special guests who we were thrilled to see trying out our game. This year, we came prepared with plenty of goodies to make sure everyone who tried the game could take home a little memento. Three lucky people didn’t just walk away with stickers and coasters but also managed to snag a hand-painted resin figurine, perfect for their desks as they eagerly await Roombattle’s release.
All in all, we can confidently say that our experience at IndieDevDay this year was a huge success. We gathered over 400 wishlists and more 800 balloons burst in just three days and collected tons of valuable feedback to help us keep improving the game. It was amazing to see how excited people were, and how happy they were after playing both the video game and Roombattle: Live Action.

On September 26, 2024, we had the incredible opportunity to present our project to publishers, industry leaders, and fellow game developers at the closing of the 9th edition of GameBCN.

This event marked the culmination of months of intense learning, supported by some of the best professionals in the gaming industry. During this period, we acquired invaluable knowledge and skills that helped us shape our project and elevate it to the next level. We are truly grateful for this unique experience and all the support we’ve received along the way. GameBCN has provided an unparalleled platform to enhance our development and connect with key figures in the industry. We’re excited for what’s ahead and the future opportunities that will arise from this incredible journey!
