Dear Steam Community, We are excited to announce that Seqitaire is set to be released on [b]January 24, 2024[/b]! For those who wishlisted Seqitaire back when it was first announced on Steam in 2022, we thank you for your patience and apologize for the delay. We were focusing development efforts on improving Shuzzler: The Word Game up until spring of 2023, and have since spent extra time adding some features to Seqitaire that were not initially planned. These new features include designing the existing 10-levels of the game with preset tiles that ensure there are multiple solutions possible in each level. Previously, all of the tiles in the tile grid were generated randomly for each level, meaning that not every game may be solvable with the generated tile set. The decision to implement this feature was based on feedback we received from the Steam community about Shuzzler, which shares many of the same game mechanics with Seqitaire. The option to play each level with randomly-generated tiles is still available in Seqitaire, and can be toggled on and off. Saved data for game stats are stored separately based on the status of this setting, and there are separate Steam Leaderboards based on this setting as well. We look forward to continued feedback and support from the Steam community after release of Seqitaire. Steam advises developers against making promises about future development, but we encourage the Steam community to offer suggestions for future content (i.e. levels) to add to the game. The 35 new levels we added to Shuzzler after release were unplanned, but we added them in response to feedback from the community.
