You can control the entire rail traffic with a sophisticated signal system. Build train consists from steam, diesel and electric locomotives, passenger and freight cars.

Railroad X version 10.2 is online. Changes and improvements:

completely reworked menu labels
Prepared for plugins 1 and 2 for Railroad X (Eisenbahn X) both available from the EEP Online shop.
Bug fixes regarding stability issues
Additional tutorial layouts, explaining the features from plugins 1 and 2.
Please note that the plugins are required to activate new features like preset routes (plugin 1) and the Lua script editor (plugin 2) Additional features in plugin 1 preset routes - An "origin" and a "destination" signal define a route from A to B. The required settings for all switch points and signals between origin and destination are stored in the "origin" signal. Routes are automatically checked for conflicts (i.e. crossing routes, blocking rolling stock etc.) Surface texture scaling - allows for more varied landscape painting. Textures can be scaled between 1/10 and 10 times original scale as well as randomised during texture application. Additional features in plugin 2 Farming - a combination of models and tracks with special features built in adds fully animated farming to Railroad X. A tractor can plough a field, a combine harvester can bring in the harvest, all in beautiful animation. Lua scripting - The implementation of Lua gives you new control over your signals and switch points. You can read as well as control any signal's or switch point's state as well as respond automatically when their conditions change. Together with the power of a programming language this means that you can use logic and calculations to steer your traffic. Any contact can call a Lua function which you define in your script. EEP also repeatedly calls a dedicated function (named EEPMain) 5 times per second for those tasks that need to repeatedly check certain conditions. And as the new preset route signals from plugin 1 are signals too, you can control those as well with Lua commands The new tutorial layouts included in version 10.2 give you some insight into what the plugins have to offer. They work even when the plugins are not yet installed.
