R-Type has returned! The legendary side-scroller is back and better than ever with beautifully rendered 3D graphics, exhilarating shoot-'em-up gameplay, and a multitude of stages, ships, and weapons that will allow you to conduct a symphony of destruction upon your foes.
Patch 2.0.1 has arrived! This patch adds new stages, new ships, and more. Please read below for more details.

[b]Stage 4.1 - Masses: Thunder Roaring Another Dimension[/b]
This stage will pit players against the Zeonates, culminating in a face-off against the Zeonate Zebub.

[b]Stage R2.0[/b] is an online competitive multiplayer stage, and can be played by up to 6 players. The multiplayer mode functionality is coming soon, so please stay tuned for more updates.
