If you taste it, by the earthy, sweet flavor. Red beet is enjoyed both raw and cooked in various culinary dishes, and it's what gives Red Velvet Cakes their distinct red color! The crop is rich in essential nutrients, including fiber, vitamins, and minerals. That's why it's often used as a nutritious addition to salads, soups, and a variety of side dishes. Juice, too. How about vegetarian red beet burgers, even?[/u] [u]Grate peeled beets, onion, and garlic in a large mixing bowl, add olive oil, eggs, and rolled oats or something with a similar texture, and after the oats soaked up the liquids, you season the mixture with salt and pepper, or whatever spices you see fit. Now, you can shape patties with your hands and fry them in the pan.
