Howdy gamers! We’re back with another post to chat about changes we’ve made to Sanctuary Saga thanks to YOUR input from Next Fest, as well as a few other announcements leading into Release Day on March 8th. A lot of the feedback the community gave during Next Fest was positive: art style, the battle system, tinkering with party composition, etc, but a prevailing theme was the Wall-of-Text Tutorial stopping you from gameplay. We completely agree and have not only massively reduced the total tutorial wordcount but we also added the ability to skip it entirely. For any player who wishes to skip the tutorial, the game manual is linked from the title screen and should provide everything you need in the event you get stuck! We will add to it as the community reaches out to us with questions and comments. Some of the tutorial images were also adjusted for readability, with the instructional text appearing before the image instead of over images. Hopefully this will get players through the crunchy tech bits and straight into the gameplay. As we roll into release week, a variety of influencers will be streaming Sanctuary Saga. An easy way to support the project, even if you can’t buy it on release, is to push out any news and posts to your personal social channels. This can have a massive impact on our success and we really appreciate everyone who has been doing this already!
