Last summer my brother wanted to make his game. A first-person shooter with elements from [b]Delta Force[/b] (a classic for those that remember) and action like Rainbow Six Vegas. We sprinkled in some old-school Call of Duty for fun. [i]Maybe a hint of Battlefield[/i]. The goal was a couple of arenas and to finish by the end of 2022... but... the game got bigger and bigger. Lots of multiplayer maps and modes. Dozens of guns and weapons. Customizations for players, weapons, and loads. Class bonus, squad tactics, and more yet to come. We wanted this game to look better than good, we wanted beautiful. Unreal Engine 5 just came out that same year so it was the choice. Turns out we had to go uphill to develop as UE5 was still being developed too. My brother had to come up with a lot of new ways to do things since they weren't there or documented yet. But after many sleepless nights and giving precious days with loved ones the percerverance has paid off.
