Hello! Antonio here,
Pneumata was my life for several years and is my passion project. And however much I tried to avoid falling short with my debut title, the game had lots of issues.
Whether it was burnout or tunnel vision, it looks like what I really needed was to take a step back and also soak in the community feedback to really understand what Pneumata needs in order to become what it should have been on launch: An incredible entry to the Survival Horror genre.
So with that, I'm announcing that an awesome update is coming - Pneumata: Redux

I've been able to rediscover what Pneumata was supposed to be, and will be addressing major issues as well as redefining the game.
Among other things being worked on, here are some highlights:
- A 3rd Person Mode, to experience the game from a whole new perspective
- Improved atmosphere and a complete relighting of the game (No longer too dark)
- New Enemies that react and behave much more realistically, as well as being more balanced and terrifying.
- Improved combat that brings weight and impact
- Narrative rework that aims to hit harder
- Sound redesign
- Items and Resources management that adds life to the game
- Updated level design for a more cohesive and interconnected world that flows naturally
More to come on this soon, with the planned release of this update coming Q1 2025. The update will be free for everyone who has purchased the game already, and will offer a transformative experience from the launch version of the game as well as replayability.
Thanks!
-Antonio
