Playtest Update #1

Hey Half Sworders, We’re immensely grateful for your participation in our playtests! Your efforts and dedication have been invaluable in helping us improve our game. [b]We're excited to present our first playtest update![/b] New Features and Improvements: [list] [*][b]DirectX 11 and 12 Switching:[/b] You can now switch between DirectX 11 and DirectX 12 in the settings. Some players find DX11 provides a more stable experience and better performance, while others find DX12 smoother and better looking. If you're not experiencing crashes and low FPS on DX12, we recommend sticking with it. Otherwise, try DX11. Please note that the default option is DX11, and you’ll need to restart the game after making changes. [*][b]Weapon Handling: [/b]You can now switch hands with all two-handed weapons using the “X” key. [*][b]Physics Adjustments:[/b] We've made changes to the physics system, impacting all aspects of gameplay. While this update should make wielding weapons feel better, especially long and heavy ones, it might need some fine-tuning. We welcome your feedback! (We apologize if some things end up more broken than before.) [*][b]Historical Accuracy:[/b] We've returned some weapons to their historically accurate weight and size thanks to the physics update. Additionally, flags on the playtest map are now historically accurate. [*][b]Windows now have interiors[/b] :) [*][b]Factions: [/b]Choosing a tier will randomly assign you to one of four factions. Enemies will belong to one of the other factions, indicated by the coat of arms on shields and clothing colors. [*][b]Play Card Option:[/b] Before every fight, you now have the "Play Card" option. Choosing the left card will send you into single combat (as before), while choosing the right card will start a group fight.
