We hope you enjoy painting with PD Particles, and we thank you for using it. Perhaps you're looking for more tools, more filters, some 3D landscape modeling and rendering too? PD Particles has a lot of brushes, and a few filters. We've had PD Howler out on Steam for a while. It also adds animation and tools to work with video clips, such as for motion estimated interpolation (slo-mo), rotoscoping, stabilizer, and a lot of crazy cool tools around working with image sequences. If you don't work with video, however, and don't do animations, you might not be interested in spending money on a tool that you will only use in part. PD Howler might not be for you. To address this, we are releasing the mid-level version of Project Dogwaffle: PD Artist. PD Particles = entry lebel, for painting mostly PD Artist = Paint, Visual FX and 3D PD Howler = Paint, VFX, 3D and Animation/Video Like PD Howler, PD Artist goes beyond PD Particles, in that it adds a lot of visual FX tools and filters. It also adds a 3D pipeline to model and render 3D landscapes from elevation maps. It adds a raytracer too, Puppy Ray. And in v11, that one gets quite a boost. Wait,... v11? Why would you buy v10 when v11 is around the corner.? Well, don't. For PD Artist, we'll do something very special: Buy PD Artist now, and get v10.
