Sport Shooter puts the player in a sprawling open-world shooting ground, set amongst the rolling hills, forests, lakes and rivers of the Northern English countryside, featuring a multitude of shooting sports, from clay pigeons, to timed 3-gun competitions.
•Added camera Field of View (FOV) setting to the graphics menu.
•Fixed a few small issues with graphics settings save function.
•Made a number of further improvements to the navigation map.
•Finished Spotting scope. Made a mounted (on a tripod) spotting scope, for the 1000yd range. Shooters of un-scoped rifles can now see where they’re hitting.
•Started tripod for mounted guns. Given that I’d just made a tripod for the spotting scope, I quickly whipped up a basic tripod for the mounted MGs.
•Finished gravel road meshes. Due to the conspicuous repetition in the road detail meshes, I have made a number of variations, 5 to be exact. Consecutive road sections now have different variations applied. I’m doing the same with the smaller roads, mud roads and paths.
•Done some work on the elusive progression system. This includes the save/load component. No longer will you have to collect items multiple times. Safe keys are now saved upon collection. Restarting will no longer result in losing all collected keys. Scores and ammo will also carry over from game to game. Being aware of your ammo level will be all the more important now. Make sure to stock up on ammo before you head off to play a particular game.
•Added an ammo pickup for the .45 pistol. Can’t believe I missed this.
•Added a load/save indicator. A circular throbber appears in the bottom right corner when loading and saving are in progress.
•Added some new features to the score UI page, adding the progress bar, player level and collected key indicator.
