Hello Archfriends! We’re very proud to be able to deliver another patch! While this patch has a lot of improvements and balancing adjustments, there are some larger balance considerations that require more time for the dev team to get juuuust right! The current balance around framing another Archfiend for attacking Pandaemonium (and becoming excommunicated as a result) is one of our biggest focuses behind the scenes – we’ve got a few potential resolutions that we’re testing out that should hopefully make it into an upcoming update! And that’s just one example of the many balancing considerations you wonderful folks have brought to our attention. Now, onto the show! [*] Tweaked AI action cooldowns to reduce action spam (Loot the Vaults, Diplomatic Demand, Diplomatic Insult, and more). [*] Tweaked AI to consider stealing / destroying tribute as a means of removing enemy legions with upkeep. [*] Added additional constraints on Vassalage Proposal to stop the AI from surrendering too early in the game when there is no cause to do so. [*] Astaroth AI will no longer attempt long term aggressive planning during Draconic Razzia. [*] AI will no longer cast ritual if the ritual is already ongoing. [*] AI will no longer attempt to use Paperwork Reshuffle to end its own vendettas. [*] AI will no longer target banished game pieces with rituals. [*] AI is now able to use framing when targeting its nemesis with rituals. [*] Fixed AI not using Corrupt Tribute, Convert Legion, and Enfeeble rituals. [*] Reduced the initial delay before the first diplomatic action can be triggered by the AI.
