Patch 1.1.1.12 is live!

Settlers of Orion

A turn based hybrid board game that combines elements from Settlers of Catan with elements of space exploration. It features a great game to game advancement system that will lead to huge replayability while you play games to unlock more races and powerful artifacts.

Patch Notes version 1-1-1-12 New Game Screen: Added the ability to have players randomly select their race and the AI races. This appears as two red die next to the 'Select' text at the top of the planet icons. The one of the left (has a 1 showing) is for the human player and the other one (showing a 5) is for the 5 AI players. If you LMB click it will select races randomly. For the human player it will not select any races already selected to be used as AI players. The same is true for the button to select the 5 AI players. It will not select the one that is already selected as the human player. If you RMB click on the die it will clear all the selections for either the human or AI player. If you have unlocked any level 2 or 3 races, it will select from them randomly too. Fixed an issue where the human player was able to win the game if they had enough Victory Point cards in their hand even if they had a Research Sanction. This has been fixed and will no longer allow the human player to win by playing those VP cards to end the game with a Research Sanction active. Fixed an issue that was allowing players to purchase a trade ship even though they had two ships out whether it was from them being docked at a Trade Center or they had Trade Ships moving. There is a limit to just 1 trade ship per trade center per player, so this just helps players to not make the mistake of building a ship they can't use. Players can now move a ship they no longer want or need, back to their home world. If the home world is the ships destination, when it arrives you will get a confirmation screen asking you if you want to scrap the ship and it will show you the resources you will get. It will always give you the level 1 ship cost regardless of what you paid or what your current cost level is for that ship. If you have unlocked the Ship Factory, have explored all 294 sectors, are sending a scout ship back to your home world and you have a free card slot in your research card hand, you will be asked if you want to scrap it for a Victory is Ours (Minor) card which will give you 1 VP. Otherwise you will get just the resource scrap option. Why would you settle for just a few resources when you can get a free VP anyways. Reduced the Play Cost for the Free Scout Ship and the Steal Scout Ship from 2 to 1 since the Scout ship cost way less than other ships. Added 3 Sub Tabs under the Empire tab in the players GUI. Those three tabs are Planets, Celestial Bodies and Sanctions. The sanctions tab will show any sanctions if there are any active. Both the planet and celestial bodies list will have a list of all of the planets/celestial bodies that the Human player has created a colony on or sent a ship too. The planets list will only show colonizable planets and their home world. The celestial bodies tab will show asteroid fields, nebulas, black holes, gas planets and trade centers. The list will have an icon (and die roll number if applicable), type of object and player colored icons for each player that has something on the object. If you mouse over an item in the list it will then also show you what the chances are of rolling the die (if applicable) for both a single turn and the round (1 turn by each player). It will also show you what the current production is for that object including any additional ships or structures, and any race specific perks. It will also place a ring around the object on the board so you can quickly find it.
