Time to clean up! Assume the many jobs of a service company and take care of a vibrant metropolis in the open-world city economy simulation CITYCONOMY.
Dear Community,
Thank you very much for your feedback on the game! We’ve been reading all your comments and reviews and prepared a patch to quickly deal with some of the issues you mentioned and to include good ideas you had.
This includes:
Turn signals!
This was our priority after first reviews. A lot of you said you’d like to be able to indicate which way you’re turning. Done!
Steering tweaks
Steering the trucks didn’t always feel right, from what you said. We've adjusted some parameters and would love to hear if it works any better for you. To the forums!
Faster garbage container movement
Garbage containers don’t feel as heavy as before, so moving them around is a little easier and faster.
No ‘at work’ speed limit for Garbage Truck
When you open Garbage Truck’s and Recycling Truck’s arms, it no longer means limiting your driving speed. But we kept the limit for other vehicles at work, where it makes more sense.
Sound tweaks
Some of you reported that particular vehicle sounds were too loud or, well, a bit annoying. Not any more, we hope. The changes aren’t huge, but it’s a start.
Invert mouse option
Both axis of the mouse can be inverted now. Check the option out if you like and let us know what you think.
More streetlights
We watched your let’s plays and broadcasts and there were locations which looked too dark at night to you (and to us). We added more streetlights in those places. Is it any better?
Minor city changes
A couple of important locations are more accessible now. Can you even notice the tweaks?
Let us know what you think of the patch!
In future updates we are planning to address more of your suggestions. Among them:
controller support: sensitivity, button bindings
gameplay: red light tickets
multiplayer: taking passengers on a ride
Thanks again for your help and passion! We will keep working to eliminate annoying issues and include the best ideas you give us!
Regards,
Cityconomy Team
