Patch 1.0.4 Release (24th September 2015)

Autobahn Police Simulator

Autobahn Police Simulator is the first simulation to realistically reflect the working life of a police officer on the German Autobahn. In numerous and diverse operations the player is responsible for enforcing law and order on Europe’s fastest roads.

# Re-engineered the controls # Added more actions (steering/strafing split up into two distinct actions, added engine and handbrake toggles) which can be mapped onto input devices # Added different input handling for steering wheels and gamepads (see note below) # Added sensitivity settings for camera and steering controls # Replaced follow camera logic # Tweaked the police cars physics # Improved english localization # Added SMAA-Antialiasing. This is faster than SSAA, so antialiasing can be used on lower hardware # Improved the routine for deciding which accidents appear next, giving more variety # Added default control mapping for the XBox 360 gamepad # Fixed Accidents on gas station which sometimes clipped into geometry # Fixed initial profile creation # Fixed "Please Follow" bug where the AI suddenly drives away during vehicle inspection # Added a hint when the profile depth is too low when checking wheels # Fixes of other, smaller bugs This update resets your control-settings, so please check if the mappings on your gamepad/steering wheel are still consistent. If you use a steering wheel, change the "Input mode" setting in the "Controls" section of the options menu to "Steering wheel". Otherwise the vehicles will not react properly to the steering wheel rotation! If you use a gamepad with thumbsticks or digitial input like keyboard, you should not change this setting or the vehicles might become uncontrollable.
