Greetings!
Firstly, we wish to sincerely thank you for your patience and ongoing support. It's been amazing to see so many positive words about Sumerian Six, and we are extremely proud that many of you are enjoying the game we created! <3
As some of you may have noticed, Kacper, our CEO, posted an explanation last month as to why further work on patches & improvements was going slow after the release. For those who have not read it, you may get up to speed in this thread to better understand our situation.
Nonetheless, this little announcement is about positives! ːsteamhappyː
As promised, we did our best to commit some time to look into issues that have been reported by you since the release, split them into those that we cannot afford or are unable to tackle, as well as those that we can. We hope that the fixes we were able to commit to will result in a better overall experience, and less frustration for those of you encountering the issues previously.

Important

Please note, that the patch will be initially rolled out to a test branch, to make sure that it is, in fact, an improvement over the current live version, and that it doesn't break progression for those of you still going through the campaign for the first time. Of course, we have tested the changes as much as we could internally, including older save files provided by some of you, but at the same time, with limited Team capabilities, we wish to stay on the safe side, and ask for your assistance before we release this patch to everyone. If everything looks well, we'll have the patch released properly to live in about a week, just before Christmas.
Now, if you are kind enough to help us out, you may access the testing branch immediately on Steam and download the updated build, following the guide below.

Patch 1.0.3 notes:

[CRASH FIX] The game should no longer crash when blowing up enemies with Rosa’s Human Bomb ability, while another enemy in the explosion area is affected by Siegfried's Distract ability

[CRASH FIX] The game should no longer crash when attempting to cancel Rosa’s Stunning Link ability after loading specific save files, in which the ability was already affecting the enemy

[CRASH FIX] The game should no longer crash after patrolling Panzerwolves walk into a checkpoint gate

[CRASH FIX] The game should no longer crash when using environmental kills on enemies in specific conditions (we eliminated such issues across several levels, but if you manage to spot more, please let us know)

Issues with audio playback (glitching, crackling in certain conditions) should now be improved and occur less often (we suspect the issue to be hardware/driver dependent, but we did all we could with the reproduction steps provided by users experiencing it)

Disrupted player characters abilities should no longer stay permanently disabled after deactivating Disruptors

Rosa should now be able to correctly use her Stunning Link ability on enemies who are under the effects of Siegfried's Scare Off ability

Sid should no longer get stuck or stuck less often after Dash-killing enemies near ledges

Player characters should now properly return to crouch stance, after being ordered to quickly run up to and dispose of enemies from crouching stance, while in the Action Planning mode

Grouped player characters in mixed stances should always enter crouch first, upon pressing space

[Gamepad] Cancelling the action of picking up bodies before fully executed should now be possible and more responsive (B button), similarly to how it works on mouse & keyboard

[Gamepad] Opening doors when carrying bodies should now be possible

Save compatibility between game versions 1.0.2 (current) and 1.0.3 (patch) has been retained.
We would very much appreciate your help with switching to the testing branch, and letting us know if the game feels better, before we fully release this patch.
Thank you,
