This patch contains various bug fixes, optimizations, and visual updates for Orderly Havoc.
[b]Bug Fixes:[/b]
[h1]UI[/h1]
- Fixed an issue preventing UI crosshair from being properly overlapped when playing a minigame.
- Fixed an issue causing displacement when detecting collision in grind meat minigame on non 16:9 resolutions.
- Fixed an issue causing minigames to spawn two arms, with one of them being offset.
- Fixed an issue causing Crouch tooltip to not display proper key for crouching.
- Fixed an issue causing some text in chore lists to briefly display font syntax when printing phrases.
- Fixed an issue causing note widget to appear under displayed dialogue.
- Added a failsafe for Collect the trash and Clean the floor minigames when physics scraps glitch outside bounds.
- Added delay between when playing could press Thermostat button to prevent confusion when playing minigame for the first time.
- Made it slightly visually and physically easier to complete Collect the trash minigame.
[b]NEW[/b]
- Added new crosshair visual for minigames to help players understand where cursor hitpoint is.
- Added larger trash bag at bottom of Collect the trash.
- Added a use tooltip for Notes.
[h1]Optimization[/h1]
- Fixed an issue causing several tooltip widgets to be created at once causing severe hitching for some users.
- Fixed an issue causing multiple writes to save game data to be called at once causing severe hitching for some users.
- Removed empty material functions causing slight hitching when loading specific material.
- Removed tick events from all interactable, item, and item spawn classes.
- Clamped 3D resolution scale (1-100) preventing users from setting the value to 0 which would completely reset 3D resolution.
[h1]Gameplay[/h1]
- Fixed an issue causing a soft lock to occur while completing tasks that have multiple interactables after objectives have been turned meaty (Collect trash around the house, Clean the windows, Clean the furniture)
- Fixed an issue causing a softlock when completing some minigames while game over screen was appearing.
- Fixed an issue causing meat spawned in world for "Collect the meat" chore from not highlighting properly when activated.
- Fixed an issue causing some item names to stay highlighted when a minigame was completed with highlight items active.
- Fixed an issue causing the Lawn Mower to not trigger a highlight on the Grass when objective was active.
- Fixed an issue causing snowy landscape to be invisible when snowy weather was activated.
- Fixed an issue causing some debugs to be visible in the Toilet minigame.
- Fixed an issue causing Mail paper to spawn after minigame has been completed on controller.
- Added a slight delay to generic interaction for the Computer.
- Removed debug "Text" from being displayed inside the microwave.
[b]NEW[/b]
- At the end of House 4, players are now forced to toss pills into the shower drain.
[h1]Achievements[/h1]
- Fixed an issue preventing save game from properly storing House and Industry levels completed, preventing the unlock for House Champion and Industry Titan.
[h1]Audio[/h1]
- Fixed an issue causing footsteps to sound snowy when snowy weather was not present.
- Fixed an issue causing some music to stop instantly.
- Fixed an issue preventing music track in House 3 from starting if playing level for the first time.
- Fixed an issue causing scrap figure's radio static to continue playing in background after player reaches game over screen.
[b]Known problems:[/b]
All these issues are still being looked into.
- Some users may have experienced cursor displacement when playing some minigames. This issue is still being looked into, however playing in Windowed or Borderless Windowed seems to fix this issue.
- There is a rare softlock that can occur after players start making coffee in House 1.
- There is a rare softlock that can occur after players clean the last bit of floor in Industry 2.
