Hello there! I hope you are all doing well. I have spent some time adjusting and testing the game to increase overall performance, while aiming to reduce the visual quality lost in doing so. However, seems this patch does reduce the visuals, I have made it optional only. On the left is the original and on the right is the performance patch. The game is running on identical in-game settings with the frame rate in the top left corner. [img]{STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/26069945/239c830ce940ba6b92c34e36b4ad28e66b9f9116.png[/img] Along with the overall frame rate increase, this patch should also stop sudden fps drops, which could occur when looking in certain demanding directions. [b]If you would like to use this patch[/b] - Right click the game in your library, select properties, select the "BETAS" tab and then select "Performance Boost" from the drop down box. [b]How can i view my fps?[/b] Once loaded into the game, press F11, this will bring up the FPS in the top left corner, but will also bring up hardware information. Press F11 again. This will then remove the hardware information and leave only the fps counter. You will be able to see for yourself, if your performance has increased. This patch is aimed at improving the performance. So, may be updated at any point, if you do opt into it.
