OpenXR Version (Beta) has been released

VR MEDIA VIEWER

This application is a VR media viewer that can view various digital contents such as image files, audio files, 2D video files, VR video files.

We are pleased to announce the release of the OpenXR version (Beta) of VR MEDIA VIEWER. While previous versions managed VR devices using different VR Plugin Frameworks for each device, this version adopts OpenXR, a unified framework for VR. If you experience any issues with versions 1.2.7 or earlier, please try this version. Please note that for the OpenXR version, since you must manually "activate the OpenXR runtime differently for each device" as described later, we currently have no plans to make it a major version. Please understand that this is only a trial (Beta) version to use when versions 1.2.7 and below are not working properly.
Please make sure to activate the OpenXR runtime before use
Unlike versions 1.2.7 and earlier, this OpenXR version will not launch unless you perform the "Activate OpenXR Runtime" operation in device management applications such as SteamVR (for HTC VIVE, Valve Index, Pico, etc.), Meta Quest Link (for Oculus Quest, Meta Quest), or OpenXR Tools for Windows Mixed Reality (for WindowsMR). Below are examples of how to activate the runtime in these three device management applications. For other devices, please refer to your device's manual, which should contain information about OpenXR, and follow the instructions provided there.
