OnOrbit Alpha 4.4 Release

Our community has been a huge help, pointing out what needs fixing and we’ve worked hard to deliver. Thanks for all the feedback posted in-game. If you haven't already, dive into the reworked SSC Aura Recon mission and the SSC Aura Docking mission and give them a go. We've squashed some bugs, and made the controls easier to handle. Let us know with the in-game feedback if you manage to finish the previously impossible docking mission. Here's the DevLog nitty-gritty: 0. Persistent Craft Anything you launch now, is persistent. Your craft will stay in orbit until you demise it. To access your list of craft, visit the cupola in your space station by clicking on the [WORLD] Icon. 1. Screen Res Shenanigans We finally kicked the bug that played havoc with your screen resolution, insisting on the lowest screen resolution your system supports. 2. Invisible Behaviour Panels Press [SHIFT] and hover over a craft’s side panels and they vanish so you can see inside. Click any part or board, and its behaviour now pops up on the left. 3. Fixing the Steering Circus We had a bug that turned craft steering into a circus act after a while. Now, the 6-axis QWEASD system sticks with your craft, not the world's axis. No more steering like a drunken sailor. 4. SSC Aura Recon Mission Radar's back in action, spotting the SSC Aura like a pro. The camera now spots the craft when it's close and you've got 2x zoom, and we fixed the bug that didnt let you take the picture. You can now complete this mission and head to the next one “Dock with the SSC Aura” 5. Symmetry Mode Thrusters now interact with your craft's centre of mass. Misalignment equals crafty spins! A space ballet, if you will. 6. Space Junk Slowdown We put the brakes on the space junk in the SSC Aura Recon mission. It's less frantic and more chill now. 7. Mastering Multi-key Input Now you can steer your craft by tapping multiple keys at once, so there’s multiple vector input. 8. Grammar Guardians We did a global spellcheck and grammar check in the tutorial system because we care about gooder grammar. 9. Volume Variety Now you can control music, SFX, and UI sounds individually. Turn the volume up or down and groove or concentrate in style. No audio left behind (as far as we know, but do let us know.) There is a new part in the game too, the reaction wheel, BUT its a bit of a challenge to activate it. For the modders out there: It’s not attainable through playing the game conventionally, but you can unlock it if you figure out the game's data systems (discovering its ID through PartLocalization.xlsl and adding it to the UnlockedParts array in the CampaignPersistence JSON). Good luck, and send us a pic of the reaction wheel if you make it work! Keep the feedback coming, happy gaming and see you OnOrbit.
