[Notice] To All Raiders: Core System Update & Patch Notes

[p]Hello, Raiders. This is Obliqon Games.[/p][p]First, we would like to sincerely apologize for the lack of frequent communication. Despite the great interest you’ve shown in our game, our small team size has made it challenging to stay as connected with our community as we would have liked. During this time, we have been quietly focusing all our efforts on development, driven by the desire to present results we can be proud of.[/p][p]While our pace may not be the fastest, we are steadily improving the game's quality. Although there have been consistent updates to the demo version that were not formally announced, we are using this major overhaul of the core system as a turning point. Moving forward, we will do our best to share our development progress and news as frequently as possible.[/p][p][/p][p]Here are the key highlights of this update:[/p][p][/p][p]1. Card Merge System Overhaul: From 'Same Card' to 'Same Merge Type'[/p][p][/p][p][/img][/p][p]The most significant change is the core card Merge mechanism.[/p]

[p]Reason for Change: Previously, a Merge was only possible if you had two identical cards in your hand. This often made merging difficult in the late game as decks grew thicker.[/p][/*]
[p]Update Details: Now, cards with different names can be merged as long as they share the same Merge Type.[/p][/*]
[p]Expected Effect: This makes the Merge system far more fluid and strategic, enhancing the overall speed and fun of the gameplay.[/p][/*]
[p]2. Changes to Card Acquisition and Upgrades[/p][p]In line with the Merge overhaul, card acquisition balance has been adjusted.[/p]

[p]Single Card Acquisition: We have shifted from acquiring multiple cards in packs to a single-card acquisition system.[/p][/*]
[p]Unified Upgrade Path: The method of upgrading cards by collecting duplicates has been removed. Cards can now only be upgraded through fixed/random in-game events or by acquiring specific Chips. This change aims to increase the value of each individual card and make the sense of growth more distinct.[/p][/*]
[p]3. Overall Balancing and Monster Pattern Adjustments[/p][p]Since the foundation of the system has changed, we have rebalanced the effects of numerous cards. Additionally, monster gimmicks and attack patterns have been redesigned to allow players to utilize new strategies based on the updated Merge system.[/p][p]4. Tutorial Overhaul and UI/UX Improvements[/p][p]We have improved the tutorial to help new players more easily understand our game's unique features.[/p]

[p]We replaced the previous static, standalone tutorial with an 'In-game Tutorial' that allows players to learn naturally while playing.[/p][/*]
[p]We have also polished the overall UI and UX to improve readability, ensuring that the flow of the game can be understood intuitively.[/p][/*]
[p]5. Stability Enhancements and Bug Fixes[/p][p]We have fixed various bugs identified during the testing of this update to improve stability. However, as this is still a work-in-progress build, some issues may remain. We ask for your kind understanding as we continue to refine the experience.[/p]

[p]We need your voice. Whether it’s a bug you found, feedback on balance, or any suggestion to improve the game, your input is incredibly valuable to us. Please reach out via our official Discord or our development team's email.[/p][p]Thank you for waiting. Oblicon Games will continue to work hard to repay your patience with a better gaming experience.[/p][p]Sincerely,[/p][p]Obliqon Games[/p]
