Next Fest Update (& install info for Windows!)
Warning for Windows Users
[p]Due to some changes in the game's build process over the last year, users who have previously played the demo may see an error when attempting to launch the latest version (if it was updated over top of the previous version). [/p][p]To resolve this, if you have downloaded the demo previously, and are seeing this error, you may need to uninstall and reinstall the new version. [/p][p][/p][p]This is a one-time fix, and won't need to be done again. Sorry for any inconvenience![/p][p][/p]
Next Fest Updates
[p]Big changes for Next Fest, including:[/p]

[p]Complete graphical overhaul - improved lighting & shadows, SSAO, reduced texture warping, and some more subtle stylized effects. The game is much less true to PSX-era graphics, but is much closer to what I see in my head, so it's a trade-off I'm happy to make; hopefully this alleviates some of the motion sickness folks have experienced, too.[/p][/*]
[p]New lore - The base demo was a bit lacking in narrative substance. In the new version, you'll be able to find letters, newspaper articles, etc. scattered about that will help flesh out the narrative (without giving too much away!).[/p][/*]
[p]New content - Every single scene (all 9!) from the original demo has had at least one major content addition, including new NPCs, new areas to explore, and new music. There are also a few new scenes added just for Next Fest, so old players will have something to check out, too![/p][/*]
[p][/p][p]Okay, that's about it for now - feel free to reach out here or at pennywhistlestudios@gmail.com with any questions/feedback. Thanks so much![/p]
